You deserve to feel hopeful. You deserve to feel whole.
I’m Tammie, and I want you look forward to your future.
Life throws us curveballs – and sometimes there are too many at once. When you’re trying to dodge the twists and turns, it’s easy to lose yourself. You’re trying to stay afloat, meanwhile issues start popping up all over the place, even with people close to you.
Through counseling, I’ll provide you with a safe, welcoming environment to tackle the curveballs. We’ll talk through your struggles and all the tough stuff that comes along with them. Together, we’ll create goals – goals that get you out of your struggle and align you with your dreams.
Q: What’s your personality like?
People tell me I’m easy to talk to and conversations with me feel authentic. I genuinely care about others, and it’s really important that people feel warmth, empathy, and understanding when they sit with me.
Q: Why do you want to be a counselor?
I’ve always loved helping others. As I explored different careers over the years, counseling is the thing that I’m most passionate about. I’m happy to be the listening ear that other people need to get through tough times.
Q: What’s your favorite quote?
“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.” Maya Angelou
Q: Other things about me…
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cheyney University and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Studies from Capella University. I have over 15 years of experience in mental health and related fields! Currently, I’m a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Kutztown University. At Our Whole Living, Kari Eyer is my supervisor.
