As a counseling practice that focuses on trauma, grief, and couples counseling, we are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with the Adalyn Rose Foundation to hold our first ever couples workshop.
When we heard about the Adalyn Rose Foundation and their mission to provide comprehensive and continuous support to families grieving the loss of a child at any time during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood – we knew we wanted to support their cause.
After a few meetings with ARF’s founder, Chloe Ciferri, we decided that the best way we could support their loss families is to provide a space for their couples to learn to grieve together. A place where couples could experience the healing power of connection. A place where they didn’t need to feel alone in their grief. That’s how the Life After Baby Loss Couples Workshop was born.
The workshop will be held at Berks Nature Center in Reading, PA – in their beautiful new indoor event space. This workshop is specifically for partners who have lost a baby at any point during pregnancy, infancy, or early childhood.
During the retreat, we will help you and your partner connect through your grief and support each other through your loss. The day will be filled with education on communication, grief, & loss – as well as experiential moments of couples meditations & working with your partner to create rituals around honoring your baby.
The workshop will begin at 9:00 AM and will end at 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided for couples. After the workshop ends, couples are welcome to stay and join us to unwind with a relaxing guided walk.
